BM•ELEMENTS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website bm-elements.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have — in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese data protection law.

2. What Data We Collect
On this website (bm-elements.com), we collect only analytical data through Google Analytics: pages visited and time spent, approximate geographic location (country/city level), device type and browser, traffic source, and UTM campaign parameters. This data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through this website.
For service bookings, we use the third-party platform Fresha (fresha.com). When you make a booking, your personal data — including name, contact details, and service preferences — is collected and processed directly by Fresha under their own Privacy Policy, available at fresha.com/privacy-policy.
Health information (e.g. injuries or conditions relevant to treatment) may be collected by our therapists in the studio, solely to provide safe and personalised services, with your verbal consent.
If we add a contact form to this website in the future, it will collect your name and email address to respond to your enquiry. This policy will be updated accordingly.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This website uses cookies to support Google Analytics. We use data to understand website traffic and improve the site, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns using UTM data, and to tailor treatments to your individual needs (health information collected in studio only).

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): consent, given via cookie banner. Health information shared with therapists: consent. Internal marketing analysis and website improvement: legitimate interests, where our interest does not override your rights.
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with Google Analytics (for website usage analysis — see Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy), Fresha (your booking data is managed by Fresha as an independent data controller), and authorities if required by law.
7. Data Retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Health information collected in the studio is retained only as long as necessary for the ongoing client relationship. We do not store payment details — all transactions are processed by Fresha and their payment providers.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at cnpd.pt.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. All payment transactions are handled by Fresha — we do not store any payment card details.
